The cellar store at Warm Lake Estate is open 7 days for wine tasting, purchasing the highest rated New State Pinot Noir with a French Burgundian Grand Cru style. Also available are personally guided barrel tasting's of Pinot Noir in our cellar, winery and vineyard tours. You may relax on our deck or on the cool summer garden bench or view the Toronto skyline by remote camera. We also have some wine accessories and wine jewelry from Melting Point.
Warm Lake Estate produces exclusively New York State Pinot Noir from the Niagara Escarpment AVA in western New York, a short drive from Niagara Falls. The Niagara Escarpment is a carbon copy of the Cote D'or in Burgundy France. Depending upon the vintage, Warm Lake Estate Pinot Noir can resemble wine from the Cote de Nuits (2006 and 2007) or the Cote de Beaune (2004). Although Burgundy produces wine from Chardonnay and Auxerrois, at Warm Lake Estate the wines are exclusively 100% Pinot Noir. Burgundy owes it's reputation as a producer of excellent wine to the Monks and Monsateries, at Warm Lake Estate our reputation is based upon techniques take from this rich history. La Tache, Pommard, Richebourg, Clos de Vougeot Volnay are all produced on soil from the Jurassic period rich in dolomitic limestone as is the Niagara Escarpment. The climate of the Niagara Escarpment is so similar to Burgundy that Warm Lake Estate was formed in 2000 to take advantage of the growing conditions.
Our Pinot Noir is available at over 300 shops and restaurants in NY, the Winery Store, by telephone, or FAX. Please include your Name, Address, Day Telephone Number and credit card information. Free local shipping for case orders. Call for shipping elsewhere in NY State.
